Hearty Whole Grain Gluten Free Bread
There’s nothing like starting the day with the smell of freshly baked bread. It warms the home from the kitchen and can really be served with pretty much anything. If guests stop by, they never fail to notice the smell if loaves of bread are baking in the oven. I love the taste of freshly baked bread, and while my wife has mastered the art of gluten-free baking, I sure have not.
Baking, especially gluten-free baking, is one area that I take shortcuts! I still want to be mindful of the ingredients my family are eating, which is why this gluten-free bread mix is my new favorite.
Bob’s Red Mill have a wide range of natural foods and I often find myself stocking up on their chickpeas, baking soda or red lentils, but this was the first time I have enjoyed their gluten-free bread mix. It won’t be the last. Even for a novice baker like myself, there’s very little that could go wrong here.
I did deviate from the directions just a little, and I lined the baking tin with garlic powder and rosemary as well as drizzling some rosemary and extra virgin olive oil over the load before I put it in the oven to bake. The result was a delicious gluten-free rosemary loaf.
