Strawberry Hill Povitica Giveaway!

Published On 3 January, 2012 | Food for thought, Giveaway

There are many wonderful things I love about living in Kansas City.  There are the benefits that everyone can relate to such as the low cost of living, affordable housing, short commutes, and friendly locals. We have the added benefits of enjoying our jobs, loving our shul (synagogue) and Jewish community.  We have also been blessed with great neighbors that will join us for dinner almost any night of the week. One of our neighbors joined us on the last night of chanukah and came bearing gifts.  Strawberry Hill Povitica!

With thanks to the kind people at Strawberry Hill Povitica Co., two This American Bite readers will have the chance of winning a Double Delight Pack – not one, but TWO 2.5 lbs Povitica loaves, shipped directly to your door.  You can enter to win below!

Povitica, a traditional Eastern European Dessert, is another one of the wonders of life in Kansas City.  Depending on your heritage, you may know this as Nutroll (Eastern European), Potica (Slovenian), Orechovnik (Slovak), Makowiec (Polish), Strudla (Serbian), Orahnjaca (Croatian) or Bejgli (Hungarian).  I’ve had the pleasure of tasting the Walnut and the Cream Cheese varieties, and they  certainly don’t disappoint!  Strawberry Hill Povitica Co. make 12 different flavors each certain to satisfy your sweet tooth. They come beautifully wrapped in artistic boxes that both protect during shipping and make for tasteful gifts.  It’s clear that Strawberry Hill pay attention to detail to provide the perfect product!

For your chance to win you must subscribe to This American Bite email updates (make sure you verify your email address for your entry to be valid) and Like Strawberry Hill on Facebook.  If you want to increase the odds of winning, you can do so by tweeting, sharing or blogging about this contest.  Please complete your entry using the Rafflecopter Widget below:
