Hot on the heels of my 101 Meatballs roundup, I wanted to share another of my favorite family meals.  Curry.  I love everything about Indian cuisine from the freshly baked naan, fluffy basmati rice, crispy poppadoms and the explosion of flavors that come to life with every bite.  From samosa to saag aloo, I love curries and Indian food.

Indian cuisine can cater to many diets with vegetarian and gluten free meals being the norm.   If a recipe calls for ghee or butter, you can often use coconut oil as a substitute, or if you don’t mind cooking with a little dairy, Mark’s Daily Apple suggests making a coconut ghee.
